Of course, the week I go back to work, I catch something and end up sick. I hate being sick, but when you're a working mom, you have to just suck it up and move on with life. That is, until your kids get sick.

Molly doesn't usually get sick, which I attribute to her getting so sick so early in life, but when she does get sick it is the most pathetic thing ever.

She had a fever of almost 102, and she was just miserable. You could tell she wasn't feeling well because she cuddled up right next to TR for the entire night. She didn't want to read books, she didn't want to watch Wreck-It Ralph, she just wanted to be cuddled with Daddy.

FB Post May 29: My poor Molly hasn't been this miserable sick since she was just a few weeks old. :( We've been up watching Baby Einsteins since 4, next to an open window to try and get her fever down. My poor girl.

Finally back asleep around 8:30 am.

FB Post May 29: One of the nice things about Molly getting so sick so early in life is that she has a great immune system! Her fever, that just started last night around 6 broke at about 10 this morning and besides being a little grumpy she's almost back to her old self!

I am so grateful for my healthy kids!

Malcolm's Blessing

It's kind of odd to bless Malcolm in the middle of the month (you can find out more about baby blessings in the LDS church here), but since cousin Margreth was coming from Sweden, and wouldn't be here for the following fast Sunday, we decided to bless him before I went back to work.

Molly is ready for church! (And doesn't stop moving. Excuse the blur)

The day was beautiful in the morning. The sun was shining, and since we have 11:00 church we got to take the morning a little easy. TR did a beautiful job with the blessing, and our little boy was promised some great things.

I have THE CUTEST Family.

As with all the grandkids, and a lot of "adopted grandkids" Grammy made Malcolm's blessing suit. It was DARLING! It had a little bowtie and everything.

Baby Vida!

Our best friends Sam and Andrea had their baby on May 16th! Vida Marie weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces, and was 19 inches long. She has the cutest little button nose, and we SO love her!

We're so happy for our friends and so excited for our new "Cousin" Vida! She really does have some of the best parents there ever was.

Tulip Festival

Every year Thanksgiving Point does the Tulip Festival. They ship tulips in from Holland and plant them all over the gardens. We're talking hundreds of thousands of tulips. I have never been because I was in school or working when my family would go. This year I happened to be on maternity leave, and they happened to extend it an extra week, so I talked to mom and Sarah and we went! It had been warm all week, so of course, it would be FREEZING cold the day we decided to go.

Despite the freezing weather, it was nice to be there, and we had fun walking all around the gardens and see all the beautiful flowers. They had some of the most amazing colors of tulips.

We managed to find the secret garden (there are signs telling you where it is, but that's okay.) and got a respite from the wind for a few minutes within the garden's four walls, which was nice. Molly loved playing the in fountain.
